Faecal Parasite Case

Case: 12 years old son of a farmer from South Korea has been very tired during last moths. Basic blood count shows low haemoglobin and low MCV. Faecal specime was taken and findings are on the picture. The size of the particles are 42 x 24 µm.

Can you identify these particles of this unstaind feacal smear?



























CORRECT ANSWER: Artifact (Bee pollen)
Patient´s anemia is not related to parasites.
